Who is Jerome Enders

Jerome "Raw Rome" Enders began developing his writing skills as a teenager growing up in the Yonkers Housing project called Mulford Gardens. He eventually sharpened his craft at the local Hip Hop breeding grounds. He is best known as one of the pioneer MC's who set the foundation for fine lyrical content, quality, and craftmenship. Until this day his underground recordings are some of the most sort after and regurgitated in Yonkers Hip Hop history. He is continuing to develop as a spoken word artist, screen writer, and author. He was also a member of the hottest poets of harlem, and was featured on Styles P Freshmen album "Gangster and a Gentleman." He had one of the largest book signing's at the Yonkers Barnes and Nobles local authors night. He currently is working on several projects which are highly anticipated and will be released early next year.

The story takes place in the late 1970's in a town called Yonkers, New York. A city known at the time for its police brutality, corrupt politicians, and rumors of underworld activity. A music emerges that was destined to change the world. Come and take the journey, and walk with pioneers. Learn how a town became a prime mover of the Hip Hop culture since the foundation, and the music industries reluctance to give local talent the big break. You will experience the MC's and DJ battles, stories of bad contract agreements, and read about how it feels to have doors slammed in your face; this created a musical hunger that fueled a towns relentless pursuit to get their music heard, eventually taking them to the top of the music industry. Each story blends together like a fine symphony creating a time line designed to keep you on edge.
